continuously changing... please check back again soon!

this is the place where i will "test" my crochet and amigurumi patterns. i hope that you all, my fellow crocheters, will let me know if there are any mistakes, glitches, glares, and/or problems in the patterns OR if you just want to chat. i hope to open an etsy store in the near future (maybe 2011), but i'd like to practice writing patterns and gain more crocheting skills before i do so. after i test-run the patterns, i'll take them off and put them up for sale (so check back regularly so you can get free patterns!). again, this probably won't happen for another 5,000 years, but it's just nice to pretend.

    3. Hi!
I'm trying to make this but I'm having an issue. Line # 19 states that I do one sc in next st then an increase in next st and repeat. I keep ending up with 18 stitches in this row instead of the 16 I'm supposed to have.
Please help! I'm so close to being finished this adorable little guy and I've gotten stuck!

      2. I am planning on making this tonight and I was reading through the comments/questions before starting. I see exactly what this person was meaning on line 19. If you follow the instructions, don't you end up with 18? I know I'm missing something here. Please help! :)

      3. Hi Kellie - I'm going to have to revisit this pattern and make it better! Thanks again for the reminder :)

      4. For anyone reading this later - Line 19 - If you do it as stated, you end up with 18, not 16. So in order to make the rest of the pattern work, I changed Line 19 to *do sc in next two stitches, then inc in next stitch*. Do that all the way around and you will end up with 16 stitchs.

      2. Hi Monika! Sorry for the late reply! I don't have a pattern for the scoodie yet. But try making a long scarf then folding in half, sew the back so it makes a hood. Then I added a few rows to the front of the hood to make it fit my head a little better. I'm working on a pattern for the Totoro scoodie so I'll be putting that up on Etsy soon. Hope you keep checking back! :) Thank you!

    7. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful pattern! Quick question: do we have to always hook through both loops of a stitch for any sturdier amigurumi (unless suggested otherwise)?

    8. Stitch count is off on the last couple rows.
      Rows 19 & 20 are = 18 stitches
      Row 21 = 12 stitches
      Row 22 = 6
Thank you for the cute pattern.
